Hello, all! Dave here, from the mountains west of Denver.

I bought a 2019 Ranger Lariat FX4 in Oxford White about 10 days ago. No pics yet, but I've already swapped out the 18" chrome wheels and crap tires for a set of 17s off of an XLT shod with 265/70R-17 BFG AT KO2s. Next on my list is to get in line for a topper, and a Fox leveling kit. The FX4 shocks, as has been noted, are a bit . . . bouncy. Other than that, I'm loving this truck! Very capable, and it still its in my garage and a parking space. No, I don't have a damper yet, but I understand I *really need* one. ?
The truck was bought mainly for a travel trailer my wife and I intend to get soon. We're moving from a small Class-C RV that is getting too small. A truck wasn't really on my radar yet, but when I found out what a dealership would offer for trade on my Subaru, I had to jump on it before they came down from their epic high.
This is my second Ranger. The first one was an '87 when I was a much, much younger man.

Hello everyone, George here. I’m planning on picking up my new 2021 Ranger by the end of the week. Deciding between an XLT with rear locker or an XLT FX4. Both carbonized gray. I’m going with whichever one I get a better deal on.

Welcome George, you might have to go with whichever one is still on the lot - are you sure the dealer will still have either of them at the end of the week?

So far they still have them. A couple trucks I was interested sold before I could get to the dealer. Each was an hour away. If either of these sell I might just wait for a 2022.

Hi everyone! Purchased my 2021 XLT FX4 in October. Loving it so far and look forward to being apart of the community! I live in Oklahoma, and frequently take trips to Colorado, and Utah. I've been wheeling in Moab before and can't wait to get the Ranger better equipped for it!

Picked up my 2021 XLT Sport on Tuesday, been lurking here since my employer changed their vehicle reimbursement policies and I needed to move to a more fuel efficient truck than my 01 F150 4.6.


Lots of good info in here, looking forward to learning more as time goes on.

Hello all. Erin here . First post as well. I’ve owned my Ranger Tremor XLT in Iconic Silver since Nov 11. I’ve since installed a set of ditch lights and have a 1” level kit to install soon. I’m excited to own this truck and to be a part of the ranger family once again . I owned a 2001 ford ranger sport 4x4 previously and loved that truck as well . The Tremor will be my daily driver and off road uses will include primarily hunting, fishing, camping, and hauling the kayaks to the lakes and rivers here in north ms. So many memories to be made !
