Hello, I'm Gary. Long time Ford hater that decided to stop being a technician for Honda/Acura after two decades and went to work for Ford then bought a Ranger. I got the itch to get a pickup truck after I sold my 07 Ridgeline a few years ago and sold my 92 Wrangler last year. My daily for the last few years was an 85 Mitsubishi Montero which I still have but the need for a good Pickup and my new job with Ford got me looking at Rangers. So here it is, Special ordered in Feb 2021 and received in May.

2021 XL 4x4 w/ rear locker, tow package, and mud flaps.
Yes I actually ordered a basic work truck. Something capable but incognito. When I was handed the keys on a Friday afternoon I promptly got to work. Five Toyo 255/85R16 MT tires ( one for the spare which does fit in the spare location ) and Fox 2.0 kit already in my garage awaiting this day, and by 5pm.

That was May and now I'm about to kick over 10,000 miles. I'm pretty happy with and look forward to many adventures in my new Ranger.

I just traded a Bronco Sport for this '21 Ranger XLT in Velocity Blue. This is my 1st truck so I have a lot to get used to, but I'm loving it so far. This forum was super helpful when doing research before buying.

No mods planned except for a bed liner and tonneau cover, maybe some side steps since I'm very short. I'll be using the truck as a commuter, for hauling random household stuff, and for towing a 5'x10' motorcycle trailer (looking forward to trying that in the spring).

Well, I'm new here. Just bought my first truck. Needing to pull a trailer for race club and been wanting a truck that could pull an open trailer with my old "racecar", and if the trailer is light enough maybe the RS too, on it from time to time. I think the build date on this was Oct 18th if I'm reading the window sticker right and I picked it up Saturday.
