Don't think I posted in this thread yet, so here we go:

My name (obviously) is Anthony, I live in SW CT. I've owned around 40 cars over my almost 30 years of driving, I'd say about half have been Fords. This is actually my second Ranger as I also owned a brand new 1992 Supercab (last of the box-bodies).

I traded in a 2014 Focus hatchback on the Ranger. The Focus was meant to be my commuting car for the next 10 years, but the transmission in those things are horrendous and it spent more time at the dealer then in my driveway. So the last time I brought it in to get fixed, I drove out with the Ranger.

I bought a Magnetic XLT FX4 SuperCrew 4X4. It has the 302a package along with the Towing and Sport Package. It also has the running boards and a spray-in bedliner. I've had it a little over 2 weeks now and I can't even express how much I love this truck. Looking forward to making some tasteful additions to it.

I'd post a picture, but it seems like every other person right now has the same exact truck and color, so I think you know what it looks like.

So I have been driving a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8, which I had supercharged and was laying down about 660 hp. Adding 200 hp to a vehicle that was built for 470 wasn't a good idea: the tranny grenaded (rebuilt for $5k) and the rear diff was on the way out so... time for something new. I was looking a a Taco, but then the Ranger came back across the pond and I was all in. I found mine at a dealership, got a grand less than I wanted on my trade, and drove home happy.

I've got the RC leveling kit on order (should be arriving tonight) and I'm looking at a set of KMC Grenade OR's wrapped with BFG T/A KO2's, 285/70/17... If the geometry works, that is.

Thom, Tucson AZ. I still have the first new truck that I ever bought, 68 Chev C20. This will be my second new truck. Wow what a sticker shock. More than ten times the 68 price. My build date is the middle of March. Does anyone know how long from build date to receive date? They have to ship to Tucson. I am getting a purely functional plain white Xl. The only add ons are 4x4, locker diff, cruise control, tow pkg.

Given others experience thus far, I'd say mid to late April for delivery. We are all hopeful that things will get better as they get the kinks ironed out, but it seems like there are a LOT of potential issues.

Yeah I got a great deal on it. They are taking some off the top but not as much as Brandon ford, so I leveraged that into the deal and they matched what Brandon would have taken off.

Once your Ranger is scheduled you’ll get your VIN and build date from your dealer.

I just got it last week. First thing I did was remove the FX4 stickers and have the windows tinted.The Rough Country 2.5 front leveling kit is on order and should be here soon. Other plans eventually are a tonneau cover, window vent shades and Weathertech mats font and rear.
I traded a fully built Jeep JKU Rubicon...it was nice but I get bored easily. Time for something new. I don't intend to lift it other than the leveling kit and larger tire will not let me keep it in the garage so that's out also.
I only have 165 miles on it but so far its great!
