I'm finally getting around to post. I bought a 2020 XLT Sport 4x4 which is exactly what I wanted since I was down sizing from a same setup F-150. As you can imagine I've been looking at all the things everyone has been doing to their trucks after I stumbled across this site. Within a 1,000 miles I already lifted the front and put bigger tires on it. Then a Pedal commander and Livernois Tune. Since then just some small things here and there but I do have a list!

I just wanted to say thank you for all of you that have posted and passed on some of your DIY notes!!

Marty here. Just got my 2020 XL Super cab, rear wheel drive this week. Already picking brains here. I once had a 2008 Ranger and find the differences between it and the new one huge. Loving it so far.
Bjamin here with a 2020 XLT.

Jim here with a 2020 Lariat FX4. Actually came out of a 2017 F150 SuperCrew XLT.

Been lurking for awhile, finally feeling confident enough to post. Bought a high mileage/used 2019 Ranger Lariat FX4 in April. Dealership had it most of April and May for warranty work. Dealership service then let it get destroyed in a hailstorm after an oil change (that took them 2 days, and moved it outside with the severe thunderstorm warning already issued). 10k in damage and another month in the body shop... I am FINALLY enjoying this truck and what it has to offer.

We are a Ford house. Hell, learned to drive stick in a 1960 F-100. Owned a 94 Mazda B4000 (so, Ranger) all through college and gave it up at 300,000 to my brother and got my self an '05 F-150. And after having that truck for 13 years, picked up this Ranger. Wife has had a Focus and now a 2017 Fusion over the last 10 years.

Taken it already on some smaller adventures, and getting her better equipped for more down the road. Glad to be apart of this community that seems awesome!

Nice shot of the comet! I am an Astrophotography hobbyist myself. I got some good images but didn't think to do something like this.
Welcome and enjoy the truck!

You should post some of your pictures here in the photography section. We'd love to see them.

Replacing a 2017 Explorer Sport. Wasn't sure of the Ranger until I borrowed my son's '19 4x4 and drove it for 5 hours. Seats sold me as well as the ride and power.
I bought a used CPO Ranger Lariat with the off road package, 501A, Trailer tow package. Has 22K miles on it and like new. Very nice.
Have owned several Mustangs, several supercharged, A Taurus SHO.

I am a retired financial advisor and mess with farm tractors.

Really like the forum!

Welcome! I wasn't sure about it either being a 4 cyl but that changed as soon as I took it for a test drive! Now after a year I'm still impressed as the first day I drove it. The drivetrain is super smooth and this little 4 cyl makes plenty of power.

I'm glad to be part of this family. I ordered my Ranger in January 2019 and got it in April. This was when it was still on the backlot after it arrived. I love this truck, it's been great. It's already been off road and in light snow. Beaten a few Tacos at the light. Even had a Tundra try to run me off the road.

The only thing I would have gotten if available, would be a bed extender.

Hello all! Just joined the club with a new 2020 XLT 4x4 in Oxford White! It has the 302A equipment group, sport appearance package, and the 18" wheels. Had some dealer installed goodies come along for the ride as well:

-TOFF Spray-in bedliner
-Running boards
-Window tint
-Roush Stage 1 Performance Pac

Arturo from Idaho. I’ve had my ranger since May and I love it. I wish I could have found an fx4 stx in lightning blue. But I took the first one I could find with 4x4, tow package, and decent dash set up. I didn’t like the basic look on the xl this stx with 101a package is damn near the best thing I have ever owned. Keeps me going where I want to go in the Idaho mountains.

Clint here, from Knoxville TN. I’ve been a Ranger fan boy most of my adult life.
first Ranger was a 95 standard cab 5 speed. Traded it for a 99 3.0L Supercab. Traded that one for a 2001 Black 4.0L supercab 4-door. Traded that one in on a brand new 2004 Sonic Blue flareside in September of 2004.

I still have that truck and it currently has 234,000 miles on it and has been fantastic. I just purchased this 2019 STX FX4 new in late June.

I combed this site for a month before buying it. I learned so much and I thank you guys for that. I haven’t done a lot to it yet but I will get there. So far I’ve just tinted the windows, gotten a spray in bed liner, Did the “Raptor Lights”, Added the Engine Cover, added the OEM chrome exhaust tip, chrome grille, and chrome tow hooks.

Howdy everyone!

I'm new to the forums, and Ranger's in general. I'll be daily driving the truck here in Fort Collins, Colorado -- and getting into the mountains some with the family for camping / fishing and just doing all around Colorado things!

I'm a long time (now former) Tacoma owner - a good friend convinced me to test drive a 2020 Ranger... and then this happened:

IMG_3725.webp

So far (5 days in) I'm really enjoying the new ride! There's some things I absolutely love about the new truck (front parking assist and my tight fitting garage = happy! and can finally lose the tennis ball!). There's some things I'm "getting used to" (where'd all the buttons go???) but overall it's been great.

I'll be following all the mods people are discussing... and eventually building up the nerve to fix what isn't broken!
