New Ranger owner but not a stranger to ford trucks.

Just a month in but Ready Lift 3" SST, Tyger steps, Falcon Wildpeak AT 275/70-17 with some KMC Wheels. Clear Bra, Ceramic Tint and Exo Shield Windshield Protection.
Will be blacking out the emblems and a grille of some sort. Tuner on the way.

Hey, I'm getting the same brand/ size tires on Monday how do you like them? Did you have to cut the front bars or or do any other mods besides the rims?

Just joined and already learning so much. Picking up my new 2020 Ranger Lariat in 2 days and I'm trying to learn as much as I can to get started on adding my personal touch. Will be adding pics and asking questions along the way.
Sold my '04 Taco last Saturday :crying:..... picked this up on Wednesday :fingerscrossed: .

I haven't done this yet, so here it goes. Hello, my names Jamison and I live in the caribbean. I'm a chef and run a dog rescue out of my house and this Ranger is my first new truck. I sold my 01 F150 10 years ago when I moved here and I've missed it since. I've been driving old beaters and raggas since I've been here, but between work and the dogs, I just couldn't handle the break downs anymore.

Never had a nice brand new ride. I was planning on just turning the key and driving it, taking it to the dealer for everything, even though I usually love working on my own ride and take pride in doing it myself.

A friend offered me a great deal on new tires and from a google search I stumbled onto Mr Risks build thread and now I'm on here more than facebook and that deal I got on the tires is lost, because now I'm going to start playing with my truck and really get into it which is great and awful.

I will apologize now for all the stupid questions I have coming y'alls way, but this thing might as well be a space ship to me.
Gio here from Downey California, had my 2019 Ranger for two months and only done a couple of minor accessory upgrades. Looking to do a whole suspension and tire upgrade, RTT with rack .
Welcome to the site!

Does it matter?

Tires are great. Quiet and great in wet and dry traction. Need to get out on the trails to see how they do next to the nittos on the last truck.

I did remove the front bars and have a very slight rub on the rears when backing up. Plan to replace them with some aftermarket ones. Wheels are a +18 offset.

Been lurking for awhile, finally feeling confident enough to post. Bought a high mileage/used 2019 Ranger Lariat FX4 in April. Dealership had it most of April and May for warranty work. Dealership service then let it get destroyed in a hailstorm after an oil change (that took them 2 days, and moved it outside with the severe thunderstorm warning already issued). 10k in damage and another month in the body shop... I am FINALLY enjoying this truck and what it has to offer.

We are a Ford house. Hell, learned to drive stick in a 1960 F-100. Owned a 94 Mazda B4000 (so, Ranger) all through college and gave it up at 300,000 to my brother and got my self an '05 F-150. And after having that truck for 13 years, picked up this Ranger. Wife has had a Focus and now a 2017 Fusion over the last 10 years.

Taken it already on some smaller adventures, and getting her better equipped for more down the road. Glad to be apart of this community that seems awesome!

Don't corrupt this guy Dave...he's a real Ford truck guy, AND from West TX, I think he can wrangle a lit'l ole aluminium tailgate on his Texas Lexus!

Welcome, I am also Ford to the bone. Only had two Dodges back in the 80’s other than that everything has been Ford, Lincoln or Mercury.

I'm finally getting around to post. I bought a 2020 XLT Sport 4x4 which is exactly what I wanted since I was down sizing from a same setup F-150. As you can imagine I've been looking at all the things everyone has been doing to their trucks after I stumbled across this site. Within a 1,000 miles I already lifted the front and put bigger tires on it. Then a Pedal commander and Livernois Tune. Since then just some small things here and there but I do have a list!

I just wanted to say thank you for all of you that have posted and passed on some of your DIY notes!!

Marty here. Just got my 2020 XL Super cab, rear wheel drive this week. Already picking brains here. I once had a 2008 Ranger and find the differences between it and the new one huge. Loving it so far.
