I have been watching this forum for many months now and just this past weekend made the switch to a Ranger. I am coming from a 2013 F150 Supercrew. I have to agree with most people on this site that the Ranger is a great vehicle. I have a 110 mile commute each day and so far I am seeing 26.3 mpg, which is way better than the 18.4 from the F150.

My wife and I have 2 kids, 3 and 7 weeks so carseats are a big factor for the vehicle. With a litle bit of planning that has not been an issue.

All the help on this site helped with the decision to get a Ranger. It also helps that a Ranger was the vehicle I have wanted since I was about 10.

Congrats on the new rig and baby! Truck looks great. I also came from a 2013 F150 Supercrew and see the same 26mpg for my 80 mile commute. It's nice as the kids get bigger, the car seats get smaller. My 5 and 3 year olds don't have any issues with room in the back seat.

Nice Truck Joe, I too have Iconic Silver but a different package. I totally love it in a lot of ways. Very fun to drive, very comfortable, gas mileage is great for a truck, it hauls ass pretty easily too. I tow a new tent trailer and I hardly know it's back there. I am sure you will enjoy your new truck too. Congratulations.

Welcome Joe - sounds like it’s checked all the right boxes for you and your family. Enjoy.

@FordSpeed is right, the kids will grow into it but it’s not too early to prepare for that now.

After you install your tonneau cover and bed mat, stand in front of a mirror and in a stern voice, practice these two lines over and over until you perfect them.
  1. Don’t make me come back there!
  2. If I have to pull this truck over…!

Hi Joe, welcome.
Great color choice, makes nodding so much easier?

A few people (@AzScorpion ) like Dave, might recommend using certain products recommended highly on a certain "local" Ranger shopping network as first choices.

Tough to know whether 303 graphed or tailgate damper ?? should be first.

Have fun nodding and show us what you decide to do.

Nodding?

Hmm, Terry might still be half asleep or couldn’t find his glasses. Or, maybe he’s morning-drinking. ?
