  1. 10R80 Transmission

That is something I tried first. Used the recommended lubricant and replaced the boot.
  2. 10R80 Transmission

That is the exact same thing I feel when stopping.
  3. 10R80 Transmission

When the truck was in the shop last they performed a TSB that includes valve cleaning and an transmission reset.
  4. 10R80 Transmission

I bought the truck with just under 10k miles a year ago. First service was at 21k and now back in at 38k six months later. I see similar results with both tow and sport.
  5. 10R80 Transmission

Wanted to get some thoughts on the 10R80. My truck is back in the shop for the second time to look at the transmission, the typical harsh shifts and very poor downshifts when stopping even slightly quickly. The dealer put me in a 2022 Explorer that has the 2.3l and the 10 speed. This brand new...
  6. Sure this is somewhere in the forum however - Curiously... How many miles per year do you average?

I have put 21,000 on mine since I got it in September of 2021. Usually total between 30k-36k a year.
  7. Jerky transmission

I had the same thing with my transmission, also a 2021. Gears 1-5 are hard shifts, with 4th being the worst. Downshifts when stopping also caused the truck to surge with every gear change. I would say 85% of my shifts were fine but the others were very noticeable. Took mine in last week and they...
  8. What’s your favourite (non-tailgate damper) mod you’ve done, for under $100?

Do you have more information on this? It's something I have been looking at since bed mats are alittle scarce right now.
  9. Ughhhhhhhh. Trucks, HOAs, and Garages...

I actually grew up in Boca Raton, my family still lives down there. As mentioned above, some neighborhoods have relaxed that a bit. The one I grew up in had that same rule but there are trucks all throughout the neighborhood. Granted most vehicles are stock. Are you looking in East Boca or West?
  10. Any way to disable or lock rear door locks?

Just curious if had any luck with disabling the rear locks? That is something I don't want my kids having any control of.

I have a couple items planned with a tonneau cover and bed mat coming first. It's big for me to get the bed covered.

I have been watching this forum for many months now and just this past weekend made the switch to a Ranger. I am coming from a 2013 F150 Supercrew. I have to agree with most people on this site that the Ranger is a great vehicle. I have a 110 mile commute each day and so far I am seeing 26.3...
  15. Need dad advice: Ranger Regrets?

I can speak as someone that has 2 kids in carseats. My oldest is 3 and is forward facing and my youngest is 7 weeks so is rear facing in a removable infant seat. I have a Diono Radian for my son and he sits behind me. I have my seat as far back as it will go and he still has room. The infant...
