Greetings from NE Ohio!

I haven't owned a Ranger since...
1996_Ranger.webp

(I may still have an acct over at TheRangerStation)

Just came off 2 Colorados in a row (2005, then 2012 - I got rid of them at 200K miles).
Now I'm in a 2021 XLT (60K miles). Turns out it has an ICON stage 2 suspension, and that front bumper. But the LED light bar is not wired in, and the fuel tank has no armor.

You know how when you buy a vehicle, you immediately start to notice them everywhere. I kinda like that I haven't seen one just like this yet.

Still need rails over the bed (which probly means a new tonneau cover as well) for bike, boat, and ski racks. And having a rear locker would be nice (both Colorados had the auto locker), but I'm pretty satisfied that this truck seems to have been all sorted out with no glaring defects.

Welcome to the party Jay! I like the way that the black wheels accent the red on your truck.
Have Fun and Enjoy It!

Welcome Jay, nice truck that has ticket written all over it.

With your project list it looks like you will have a lighter wallet very soon.

You don't see that color often, at least around here. Yes, you are lucky that most mods people do are already done, IE suspension.
You don't have locking diff's? I had a '21 XLT and it had locker. Got me out of trouble plowing snow a few times last winter.

Welcome Jay - you sure lucked out with the suspension. Very nice.
Thanks everyone!
It is a tad stiff on chatter bumps, but it works really well when you lean hard on it, or flex it out. Cornering is superb!
I never would spend that kind of $$$$ on aftermarket stuff. So yeah, lucky find.

Suspension is the number one mod (well, except for a damper ) that really make these truck shine! When I changed mine out on my '19 Ranger it was a night and day difference and was worth every cent. Especially if you have the Fx4 package because it's like driving a Pogo stick! lol

That is the downside of a damper. Throws off the entire suspension balance with all that weight behind the axle.

Welcome, Jay. Love that red and black combo.

For the bed racks, check out https://www.ranger5g.com/forum/threads/bed-rack-tonneau-cover-combo.38719/. I've got the Elevate racks on mine, and they work fine with the Ford-branded tonneau that I already had, although it looks like yours hangs over the bed rails a lot more than mine does. Anyway, there's the complete write-up on my install over a couple of posts, with plenty of pictures. There's also other set-ups from some of the others on here, so you should have plenty of food for thought.

Nice looking Ranger! Love the color. Since the light bar isn't hooked up, lose it, I cringe when I see people blocking airflow through the front end of turbo charged vehicles. You came to a great place to learn about Rangers.
