Long story short. I installed a long range tank on my 22 ranger tremor and now I'm getting a P04VFO Evap system error. Through trial by fire I am wanting to replace the quick disconnect fittings (pics attached) and cannot find a part number anywhere.
1) Pic 2 are the fuel lines from the tank to the engine
2) Pic 21is the yellow clipped to the charcoal canister.

Anyone have an Idea on the the part # for these? I tried looking in the ford tech manual but the relevant fuel lines folder is corrupted.

Thanks for your help!

Did it code immediately after the tank install? --- P04FO

If yes, I am thinking that since you have changed the tank size, the IPC (As-Built) data needs changed to reflect that is has a larger tank size.
When it performs the Evap Auto Test, it applies a vacuum to the system, it has to reach a certain value and hold it for a specified amount of time.
You have increased volume, so the PCM sees it as a (longer time) out of specs to reach its vacuum parameter. This will trigger that code.

The IPC has the Tank Size change - 720-03-01, or use Forscan Easy Mode

I would double check the hose / tubing routing to the new tank, you may have it connected backwards as others have stated on this install, the install instructions are vague and not precise.

If no, and it was working fine and then failed, then the Purge Valve, has possibly failed. or bad connection on the tubes going to and from the purge valve.

As far as the connections, Ford does not have the connectors separately, they come with the tube itself, I believe.
You may be able to find one in the (HELP) section at auto parts store, but you risk cracking the hard plastic tube, generally they are not replicable as they are heat crimped to the tube to seal it.

EDIT:

Sorry I just saw you were in the Install thread already.
But if not the Purge Valve, you are shooting in the dark to find a leaking connection without a Smoke Tester.
I have one, was not all that expensive under $200 with accessories.

I would agree with what was said above first smoke the system to start. You don’t wannabe replacing parts if you don’t need, is that the only fault? Seems odd you don’t have a “leak” fault.

Thanks for all the advice folks! I’m gonna get her smoke tested to make sure there aren’t any leaks then replace the purge valve if that doesn’t fix it. I find it a bit odd that the purge valve would fail very soon after putting the long range tank in but I have no idea how this crap works! Instructions on install were terrible indeed and me being a Neanderthal cracked a couple clips on the quick connects on removing. I had to modify some Napa generic ones which seared them but should probably replace them with the correct part indeed.

I figured does only sells assemblies now so will likely have to buy the hoses with fittings and then remove as I did per the long range America tank instructions (cut along the ridges of the hard tubing and reuse the connectors with the high pressure lines provided with the tank).

as for the pressure settings change. I changed the fuel tank volume via forscan so I don’t think that’s part of the issue .

Thanks again for all the advice, i
