So, you pay for your gas, but then give electric power back to the state ???I live in San Diego. I am an engineer, and my next door neighbor (also an engineer) had three brand new Dodge mini van’s (hybrids) out front of his house before COVid so I wandered over to ask. A month later told me the technologies standards had been approved by all the governmental and private groups on the two way flow of electricity.
The original goal was for the hybrids to be able to do this. I fully understand a hybrid mini van, but a full electric, never in my mind. The standard was for the hybrid would plug in and turn it’s engine on as needed and then later charge the batteries off the “grids excess”, at some time. The car market seems to have shifted to total electric, but the standard is in place, so that is good. The fact that the FEDERAL government made a standard for plug in’s that did not accept the Tesla standard, THEN all the companies have signed agreements to use it. . . .
Let me guess...they don't pay you for the electric......
But you get to charge back from the "excess" ??? At some time !!!!! When is that 2057 ?
You have got to be kidding !!!!!!!
