I agree. I have SOC set at 100% (with ASS disabled & BMS sensor connected) and my truck rarely see 100% SOC, Usually it stops charging at 95%, and after a couple of days sitting it is down to 88%.9v. its dead jim
get the better battery, there is one with a little more AH and make the change in forscan to keep it at 90+% SOC

Upon startup I see as high as 35amps that quickly (under 10 seconds) drops to ~5 amps that gradually tapers to 1. By 94%-95% the alternator is only putting out 1 amp at ~14.2v. I've seen it hit 0 at 95% SOC before.
Short answer 100% SOC with ASS turned off in Forscan won't hurt the battery. If you use ASS keep the stock setting to avoid possible over charging when those bursts of very high voltage happen during regeneration phases that occur when coasting and braking with ASS is enabled.
