Most bestest color.Ok I'll report in:
2022 XL Scab STX FX2 Velocity Blue.
Drove new off the lot on 10/8 2022 after a 6 month wait for build.
Currently 26,xxx miles. No trouble so far. 3 oil changes so far, full synthetic. Wash at least once a week with full interior detail, wax every 4 months but I do a quick spray shine every time I wash it. Still looks new. Runs like a wild animal. The only problem I have is there is a tiny little "pimple" in the paint at the top of the hood by the windshield in the middle. Leaving that alone, you can barely see it. Probably debris in the paint from the factory.
Every so often my basic radio/sync unit acts wonky. Not a big deal at all.
I don't drive that hard aside from an occasional on ramp blast or wide open throttle from 70mph and it pulls hard. Faster than my 94 Mustang GT or so it seems. Sport mode is fun. Really fun. There is zero concern pulling into any traffic scenario or passing on the highway.
Chirps going into 2nd and 3rd gear. Never fully lit up the tires but I know it will do it. But I don't do shit like that, really. I was skeptical about a truck with a 4 cylinder but as soon as I drove it all that doubt went out the window. It's quiet. I love this truck and hope it stays this way. Maybe get a tune one day. For now it's completely stock and I want for nothing more.
Thanks for reading.![]()
Fixed it for ya!(2nd best color).
And yes, his morning I will be using those middle tie down hooks that I bought.
Good to hear, I am a little nervous about the turbo 4 going over 100k miles but quite a bit of trouble free engines over 100k now. I even do 5k synthetic oil changes so maybe I need to stop worrying. Ford probably has the most experience with turbos at this point too. Poor Toyota v6 TT owners! Main bearing failures are happening there.85,116 on my 19 Lariat. No major issues to date. Rencently changed trans fluid, front and rear diff and transfer case. 2nd time for all. Fluids looked good. Very little material on magnets. Engine oil changes done every 7.5k.
Man, I know the feeling. The Tremor drives so nice out of the box. That said, now with the new gen Rangers out, I was wondering if the v6 twin turbo motors would make me want to upgrade but I just do not like the front end or the interiors very much. That and the dealer today had a 2024 4x2 Lariat for $45k MSRP, makes my '21 XLT Tremor feel like a steel at $42k. No way the next gen Tremors are under $50k, if they bring them to the USA. That and who knows if they even use Fox again since the F150 Tremor doesn't use Fox. Think our gen Tremors will be a little gem for some time, kinda like the 2003 Mustang Mach 1 with the Cobra out.'23 Tremor. Ordered it. Had 3 miles on it when I picked it up. 22,901 miles as of this morning. Do the oil changes at about every 6500 miles. No issues. Big fan of the engine in this truck. Big fan. Have used my truck multiple times for truck stuff. (Reminds me, got to get touch up paint for the bed! Bed mat only. Spray in liner would have delayed production.) Hauled large loads of mulch twice. Landscape rock three times. (Went higher than intended with one load... was over 1200 pounds. Truck did NOT flinch.) Lumber? Multiple times. This thing is a truck. And a damn good one.
Taken it on multiple road trips. Some fun. Some work. All enjoyable simply because I love driving this truck. As to the personal road trips, even the warden has told people how comfortable the Ranger is on long rides.
Taking it out a bit later this morning. Hauling our kayaks for a day of fun. See? More truck stuff. And yes, his morning I will be using those middle tie down hooks that I bought.
One major mod yet to be made. Been planning it for a while. Gotta get a camper to drag behind it. Warden and I are narrowing it down.
Love my Tremor.
So are you going to now go by ArTerrapin? I still go by my old '16 Honda Pilot name on the Honda forums so I dont blame you for not changing your name lol11,800 flawless miles on my '23. Most of those miles (about 6,500) were from picking it up in WA & our summer trip last year. I'll be adding another 1,200 miles late next week when we move from AZ to AR.
I've past that numberQuick get off the 666 as soon as possible.
Hey I just noticed your handle "Ibanezbass671" - so back in the long ago, during the before time, I had a Rickenbacker 2001 Bass, similar to the one used by Geddy Lee and Chris Squire with a Yamaha Amp. It definitely had the "Rickenbacker Growl"...22 XLT 2WD Sport with.........11k. Weekend truck user...lol
Agreed! Though V6 availability or not, won't be upgrading my truck. Love it way, WAY to much to think of changing it out. No way the next gen Tremors are under $50k
Nah! Mines a limited edition, 2 year only.Fixed it for ya!![]()
