For the life of me, I can't/don't understand what seems to be an obsession with some to figure out the mileage to the last 1/20 of a mpg !!!
Those folks should have just bought a Prius.

Its not NASCAR. i get what your trying to do.

But too many variables with our trucks. You and i do not drive at all similar or do similar things with the truck.

Just too many variables. Plus, not all rangers act the same. Even with the same owner. As my 2020 and 2022 ranger have proven

Just read this whole thread. Kind of like watching a train wreck. Just can't make yourself look away.
Looks like the OP felt the same way and deleted his account.:oops:

You are splitting hairs. In the context of this thread mileage = miles per gallon or mpg.
Neither the analog nor the digital speedometer change while in Park, ignition on or off. But with the ignition off, the fuel economy reading stays the same. Even if I switch it to metric; 0 kmh. But I can't figger out where the new gas is coming from when it's in the metric scale. If I'm driving at a nice sedate 90kmh, The fuel economy is 8.71 L/100km. but when I floor it, it shoots up to 65.34 L/100km! I think this might be where the fuel in oil problem is. If I drive it like I stole it, the extra gas created has nowhere to go, so it must dump into the oil pan.

So I drive 90kmh (56 mph) or slower. Lousy 8L/100km but I don't have fuel in the oil.

You should mount a 150 gallon tank in the bed. Plumb it in to catch that extra gas. Sell the gas to your neighbors! Money maker!

Yep. This is why Canada is a net exporter of oil. The US shoulda gone totally metric decades ago.
