Stop with those ridiculous spy photos. As I have said before, they look like Heidi Klum sunbathing photos revealed for the first time!!!!!From Ford Authority
Puke green with whitewalls. That’s the ‘70s i remember. ?I suffer from the same confusion of re-purposing model names for different a class of vehicle. The Maverick name makes sense for a “truck” - I get it but I can’t get that ugly 70s 4-door Maverick out of my mind. Yes, I said “ugly” - as in AMC Matador ugly.

Depends on the size it ends up being but individuals and even some fleet managers have been clamoring for a truly compact pickup that doesn't suck to hit the market again. This thing is as close as they're going to get and it'll probably sell like hotcakes.Anyone have any thoughts as to why they're even making this thing?
Are they going for a Escape, Edge, Explorer type approach to their trucks like they do the SUVs they make? Or is it a resurrection of the Sport trac?
It's neat looking for what it is, and the price is nice for lower income. But it just seems weird to have 3 sizes of truck.
So, for example I see a lot of contract companies like G-Tel or PVS using the Ford Escape as vehicles for carrying their tools around. Would you expect the Maverick to replace the escape in these situations?Depends on the size it ends up being but individuals and even some fleet managers have been clamoring for a truly compact pickup that doesn't suck to hit the market again. I rented an apartment back then with that shade of appliances. Maverick was also the name of the UK version of the 1G Escape.Puke green with whitewalls. That’s the ‘70s i remember. ?
This hurts to read, yet so true ?when you look at the trucks sizes, they've gained weight and size like a Dad of three over the years.
If you take the railroad tie-size bumpers off, the Matador Coupe was kinda cool!I suffer from the same confusion of re-purposing model names for different a class of vehicle. "Ranger" is also a Ford name brought back to life...Lookin back at some of Fords naming choices, I think they should actually call the new Ford Compact truck the Ford Ranger, the RangerG6 should be called the Ford F-100. The "Full size" is the F-150.
I hope not. Also, I noticed in one of the pics on another site, there was a moon roof. Hopefully that makes it to the next gen Ranger.
