  1. Tonneau cover and lighting

I'll look into that. I could also tap into the courtesy lights at the license plate bulbs. I can change that timer in ForScan was well. Lots of options.
  2. Tonneau cover and lighting

Thanks y'all. You'd think when I typed "bed lights" in search that would have been the first thing to come up...I really need to learn to search. "bed-lights" "bed+lights" --I dunno. Forgot about the optional bed outlet...nice there's a live terminal under there. I'll probably hit...
  3. Tonneau cover and lighting

Has anyone installed one of these aftermarket lighting kits? I expect I'll be keeping my Tonneau cover on most of the time using my bed as a big trunk unless I need to haul anything big. It's probably trivial, but sometimes I'm fumbling around loading/unloading gear when I travel (often) and...

Puke green with whitewalls. That’s the ‘70s i remember. ?

Got my post-lift alignment yesterday. I'm sure it's been covered, but if you install 2-2.5" coilovers by dropping the LCA, just plan on rotating those bolts to max negative camber when you tighten em back. That's what I did and mine were right on spec (-0.1 -0.4). I eyeball-adjusted my...

The Dude abides... On a non-tailgate subject, my 265/70/17s rub a bit in reverse...both stock height and leveled. I was a bit surprised at this. I did remove the plastic covers on the crash bars, but I still hear it. Maybe the Grabbers are meatier than others?

Funny thing is, my buddy just bought a Gladiator (no affiliation to this forum) and when he was checking out my truck we opened the bed: "wait...where's the tailgate damper?" So it's a thing.
  9. New Members Introduce Yourself!

Hello all, I just realized there's a "introduce yourself" thread. I already posted in the General forum with before/after pics of my truck. Anyway, I'm Ed. Live at the beach in NC. Professional pilot, amateur mechanic. I've been turning wrenches my whole adult life and (finally) have a...

Greetings everyone! First post on the Forum, but I've been lurking awhile before I pulled the trigger on a new Ranger. After much soul-searching, I cancelled my Bronco reservation and accepted the fact that I'm a truck guy....have been for 25 years. However, this is my first 4X4. I wasn't...
