I almost missed this. What was that sir? Surely you wouldn’t be speaking ill of the one and only velocity blue would you? ?
You know they say the velocity blue color was inspired by a bald eagle seconds before he dives in to attack his prey. They say the blue represents the gentle calmness that sets in just before the eagle chooses his prey and takes his dive. Just a thing of pure tamed beauty much like the color itself.

Hey all. I’ve been lurking here a while researching a new Ranger. I put an order in a month or so ago for both an XLT and a Lariat (suggested by the sales guy since Ford was limiting 501A orders for a while).

No news from Ford but I got a text from the salesman today that they took delivery of a 2023 Lariat 501A with the Jungle Edition package in Eruption Green. I dropped by to see it in person and it’s a really great color. Limited edition interior as well with black leather and grey stitching. The matte grey trim looks great as well. I pick it up Monday. I’ve already ordered the tailgate damper (which arrives on Friday) so I won’t suffer the indignity of a slamming tailgate.

Thanks to the folks here for all the great information.

I wasn’t able to get the truck with FX4 so I also have the FORscan adapter and TM button on order and I’ll be picking up some skid plates as well. I’m definitely looking forward to you all spending tons of my money in the next months as I browse the build threads.

Congratulations on your new Ranger purchase. It has a long heritage of being Ford Tough and I hope your Ranger delivers on that pledge. As for spending on your new Ranger...it is addictive and there is rumor of a Rangerholic.com support group being formed for those people (like me to a degree) who cannot stop adding to their Ranger!

Ah, makes sense. No one in their right mind would say anything bad about this gorgeous blue that represents all that is good in the world.

You would get more compliments if it was velocity blue ?. I’ve had countless women ask me to marry them and have their children because of my truck…aaaand here comes my wife…if you don’t hear from me later call the police.

I'm surprised that I've had that same response with my Cyber Orange Ranger, and if you've seen any pictures of me, you'd understand my surprise.
