I want to get a lower grill insert for my 2021 Ranger, but, it has the collision avoidance system.
Does the system still work with any of the grill inserts ? The several different manufacturers of them say they do, or they should, but none really give a definite Yes or No .
Any of you with the system and the insert can give a real world answer ?
Leaning toward the Mountains 2 Metal insert.

I have the Putco one for use with the collision avoidance (ACC). It fits around the black box, so it won’t interfere with it. I’m pretty sure they are made the same way, just a different company.

Should have been more specific...looking at the Mountains 2 Metal which covers the box. I know the Putco has the cut out for the box, but I like the full coverage of the Mountains grill.

I got to think that it blocking the sensor might not be that issue. The issue might be it will not fit because of the sensor. Doesn't the sensor sit forward a bit from where the screen will be?

Mountain states it will fit on their web site, and states it will not interfere with the sensor.
I was just looking for anyone out there who might have one and has some input.
For the $69 bucks their asking I'll get one and see what happens. Was just looking for input .

Some here have gotten the solid lower and relocated the sensor behind main grill. Someone sells a bracket to remount it properly and aim it the right way. There is a tread on here all about it and where to get the items needed

I have that insert, and everything still works.

I just installed the M2M grill and haven't had any ACC issues yet. Will have to see how it works in snow but if it's snowing I shouldn't be using Cruise Control anyways ;)

Edit: tl;dr version: The Mountains2Metal insert works with ACC, no issues. And really installs in 5 minutes or less.

Good grief. I just looked up the Putco on Amazon. They recommended I grab a tailgate damper as a package deal. :like:
