Anyone know where this is from? I found it just poking through my skid plate at the front dangling around. Pictures attached.

Thank you!

By the looks of the colour of the thread it's been in there for a while. Maybe someone dropped it on the assembly line and just picked up another?

It looks like a skid plate bolt (possibly) from one of the 2 front attach points that was left out.

I thought that too at first, but wouldn't that be obvious to the OP.

Non FX4 skid I think ? hard to say from these fauxtoes

Anything symmetrical to this bolt OP? Is it in the middle of two others equally spaced? Or halfway across to another bolt in a line of four? That kinda thing...

Mark, check that the larger skid plate has its front two bolts in place - the ones that bolt up into the tow hook bracket, behind your air dam.

Mine looks different because I modified my air dam but the skid plate bolts are still where they should be. It’s weird one of these would end up there so just a WAG.

Might also be a tow hook bolt and your tow hook’s only being held on by our awesome Ontario, salt, sand, ice, and rust. ;)

Sorry for the delay. It is identical to the 2 skid plate bolts that are intact. My guess is it’s a spare that was dropped in the skid plate during assembly and left there to rattle through the hole eventually
