i see it has had 3 owners in a fairly short time. about 40k miles. makes wonder why folks buy a almost new truck and drive it less than a year and then get rid of it. maybe transmission?

Well…they certainly don’t come any prettier! Most excellent color!one of my kids is thinking about getting a Ranger. Has driven mine a few times, and likes this one. Far enough away it would be a pain just to look at. Any input would be appreciated. Details below. Haven't been tracking used Rangers, but the market has appeared to be shifting in favor of buyers. Anybody who has bought used recently have any input, esp re. price? It's not one I would buy, but I think it would work for him w/ a few changes.

From my experience, the truck has probably been/will be written down by the seller every 30 days it's been on the lot. The truck was a customer order, evidenced by the green border on the Maroney sticker (dlr orders are blue). There is still some factory powertrain warranty left, but I would buy an extended warranty if it qualifies; it might not because of the accident. Three owners and a wreck in four years is a red flag for me; hard pass. As others have said don't buy it first look. Can be a ton of reasons ... But you have to factor in the 19s resale /trade more than purchase price... I would take the trip and give it a hard look... Go home and think about it...but i never go look and put an offer in... It's aging on their lot and end of month sales quotas are coming in. At the price it is now... Wonder why it is likely below what dealer paid for it...
