Geeze Frank my roof is thin like a beer can. How'd you get that elephant up on your roof like that??
Mastodon; and I guess they were smaller up here. So you're aware, we also have small house hippos. A bit of a nuisance, but we deal with it. ?

Frank, I’ve driven by that a gazillion times and never knew the story behind it - thanks for enlightening me.

Oh yeah, keep an eye out for those tiny hippos. ;)

No pics, but a while back I parked in my usual "way too far from the store" spot. Came out to see another ranger right next to me.

Pissed me off for some reason... Been waiting for the them to post the pic in this thread so I can berate them.

Seems old man Winter, isn't done with us yet. Drove out by Rainbow Haven Beach Provincial Park. There is a small wood decked single lane bridge, just before a small roundabout. Click the link to check it out.

Stopped by Costco to refuel and found a lone Maverick. Just had to park next to it. Honestly there are days I wonder if I should have ordered the Maverick XLT with Tremor but I do love my Ranger.

I like the look of those mud guards - what ones are they?

Hi Frank

When we were in the development of the 2.3L EFI Ranger, the program was on compressed timing to get this wonderful new version in production. I had 6 prototypes and they all had a new version of the EFI motor installed. There is some testing requiring a "broken in" motor, so in compressed timing we decided to drive the prototypes to the Denver High Altitude Test Lab, from Dearborn as a breakin. We were in a rest area when a Semi pulled in, Orange Trailer with TONKA on the side. So not to miss the photo op, I had all six Rangers lined up behind the TONKA semi. Semi driver was quite amused so we decided to pull out onto the Freeway and for about 10 or 15 miles we dutifully followed behind the Semi. CB radio traffic was full of comments and laughs... These compressed trips are long and arduous and I tried to make it fun when I could.... This was one of these rare moments when you can get work done and have fun...

Best,
Phil
Hmmm, did someone mention Ranger and Tonka in the same breath? I saw this today up in my hometown and just had to share it.
