I suppose if I could put shrockworks sliders on by myself this isn't too different.

I did add the FX4 factory skid to mine, so I waited until the tank was almost empty and easy to drop, but putting 75 pounds back up there, might be a bit more.

I am curious about the the connections and moving over to the new tank.

You know about worrying about the unknowns, look at this thread and any other where people were unsure what do. Heck go back to the early years and adding mudflats was questionable., Then rear shocks, or biggest tires that fit. - Oh wait that is still happening. ?

I have one pre ordered from LRA as well. Now it’s looking like they won’t ship out til 2nd week of Jan but I’m chomping at the bit to get this installed. I’m wondering if this tank will have any auxiliary taps for another standpipe or fuel sender?

The reason I ask I’m putting an esper gasoline heater in my Alu cab on the back of my rig and it would be nice to add those fittings in with the tank so I don’t have to drop it later.

Its not really that much weight. A gallon of gas is 6 lbs. Wouldn't lean any more than normal.

Yeah I’m wondering gathering same! Where’s that video and the manual? FedEx will be delivering mine here in Portland on 12/18. I’ll be self-installing (hopefully).

I hope these work well for those that ordered! I love the idea of support for a larger tank, especially after dragging a camper across SD, WY and "enjoying" single digit MPG in crosswinds and accompanying range.

I'd love to see a V2 that is still tucked into the frame, as my skid plates see use. 27 gallons, no change in clearance?
