The single turbo 2.2 Duratec for most models. Then the Bi-turbo 2.2 for the Wildtrak and Raptor. But the new Raptor not coming here supposedly until MY24.

It's unfortunate.....the Canadian auto show in February I was hoping to get a sneak peak at the new Ranger Raptor that had made its way up to Dearborn MI for a showing....but Ford announced they would be no showing in 2023 for the Canadian auto show which is a bummer.

Yeah...I can't really get on board with the front end styling presented there....however I don't think the NA models will present as such.

For example and just 1 example...if you look at a photo of a 2018 Ford Ranger (Australian/Euro) vs. 2019 Ford Ranger North American....you can see how the platform is the same but how they reconfigured the front styling....funny enough if you look at a photo of the 2018 Ranger Raptor (Overseas) it most resembles how the current NA Ranger is styled like.

So now take a picture of the trucks in this thread and compare to the photos of the current (Global) 2023 Ranger Raptor....I'd suspect our NA Rangers will closely more resemble the styling of the (Global) Raptor in production...and when the NA Ranger Raptor arrives it may be widened or raised or something to that effect of course to stand it out from the standard Rangers.

That is exactly what I was trying to say earlier - I think the ROW Raptor will give us a pretty good indication of what the NA Ranger will look like. Seems like they should official unveil it here pretty soon if they are going to start production in May of 2023....

When I ride by local Ford stealers here, many now have a fair selection of F150's, Broncos are not uncommon, occasional (very) maverick, but Ranger are still really rare. Just odd to me. But all in all inventories are much better than they were 12 - 18 months ago. Which isn't really saying a whole lot. Heck, 18 months ago you could fire a howitzer through a stealership parking lot and not hit anything.

Here plenty of stock and no markup BS. But there is also no haggling. What you see on the vehicle is what you pay, advertised retail. Now used different story on haggling. Used vehicles here will have rather low mileage generally. My 2020 bought last October had 700 kms. I paid 21K for it. Originally guy wanted 21.5K but since my wife from same island as he was he gave her a discount.

What makes the Wildtrak a Wildtrak? Is it the same as we call a Tremor?
