Just finished adding this 22” light bar from NiLight https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B019Q0WEPS/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o08_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Had to make my own L brackets as included ones were not a good fit for this location.

I also wired using this remote wiring kit https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07B3Y2D1X/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Im very pleased with the look and light output and it was super easy to install and wire up.

Angle on the final pic is bad because any further straight on made the pic unusable ha.

I’ve got a 10inch Rigid SR Midnight Edition. SR means single row.
It’s a flood/ spot combo on the beam, and anyone who knows Rigid knows it is POWERFUL.
Didn’t want a full size light bar, wanted it very low profile but top mounted. This light bar is barely noticeable in the daytime. I’ve been very pleased.

Additionally have some Rigid D-Series Rad pods pointed back and hanging down, like bats! ?

It’s all controlled with a Trigger 4 Plus wireless control unit, with the wireless switches mounted on my overhead console. It’s secured with 3M Dual Lock.

Ok so I just read this entire post.. So I contacted Rough Country and they told me their light bar that goes in the bumper section WONT work for Rangers that have Adaptive Cruise Control (which makes obvious sense since its right in the middle of the opening) but also told it WONT work if I have AEB (automatic emergency Braking) cause it has sensors in there by the brackets.. I do have AEB on mine. I have the front 4 sensors mounted in the front bumper. Can anyone confirm this, that has the same features I do before I buy this? Im thinking they are just referring to adaptive cruise but should still work with AEB feature.
Never had a problem with AEB and this light bar.

I don't have ACC to worry about, but I used that location to bolt on a bar I made with some aluminum tabs and remnants of an old cross-bar. Worked pretty well with the light bar going below as well.

My addition to this thread... still working on this. I found a way to mount a 25" double row LED light bar behind the grille.

The bar in the bottom is mounted just like everyone else's, using available holes in the bumper opening.

The two spot lights are mounted on a bracket I made using an old cross bar (just a 1x1 steel square tube with a plastic outer coating), and some 1/8in aluminum flat stock tabs that I bolted in to where the license plate holder would mount. I'll try to get some better pics this evening to share, but was very easy to do

The round light mount you made I am very interested in seeing close up, that thing looks clean! I am close to buying the SVC light bar mount, but if I could recreat what you have and it is sturdy I would wayyyy rather do that!

This is what I was going to get https://svcoffroad.com/collections/ford-ranger/products/svc-offroad-ford-ranger-bumper

The SVC bar is certainly prettier than mine is lol but I spent less than $10 on mine.

Hopefully the pics help. If you feel the top of your bumper between the bumper and the grill, you'll feel a couple of slots that are intended to mount the license plate frame. It's a tight fit, but I managed to get a couple of bolts in there. The bar is very secure, tho the aluminum does 'bounce' a little. I would recommend using steel bar stock and it'll end up being very rigid! (also, ignore my very grungy Ranger... ? )
