I'm not sure if anyone else has seen these new Diode Dynamics SAE compliant lights. They have both pods and bars. As someone who doesn't do a lot of hardcore off-roading, and 0 to none in the dark, but who wants extra light to compensate for the lackluster XL-XLT halogens, these are the types of things I've been looking for! Seriously considering swapping my old Warn Halogen pods (which only work maybe half the time now) with either or both of these. Maybe one type in yellow, the other in white.

For the folks still struggling with light bar brackets in the front that cannot block the radar unit. I've had this on for quite some time with no issues. It's sturdy, comes in different sizes and multiple holes for different types of lights. I have a 30" curved light bar on mine from Rough Country.

Hey Mike, They have a similar bracket on Amazon. It has slotted holes across the top to mount the bar on it. Here are two different ones. Oh,it doesn't interfere with the ACC because it's above it but they do have a relocation bracket for the ACC if you want to add a light bar below.

EDIT:

Here's the relocation bracket. I don't know why they show a bumper but it's the right part and number.

Also here's the original post for it.

The pods definitely won't affect the Adaptive Cruise Control. The bars might. I don't have the Adaptive Cruise, nor do I have any of those lights yet. To be safe, I would probably just go with the pods.

You could always send them a message and ask to make sure.

thanks! On one hand I don't want to mess up or jack with having to move the acc , i like the license plate brackets ALOT! but my one worry there is the automatic car wash, will the license plate bracket cause an led light bar to stick out too far and get damaged or destroyed?

I like this light, amber and white - https://extremeledlightbars.com/x6s...gle-row-led-light-bar-11400-lumens-combo-beam

I don't use car washes but I can see it being a potential problem. Maybe John or someone else who's had this can comment on this?

If you look at the pictures of bracket, there are multiple holes. My lights are slotted on bottom and can be moved in their own tracks. Side brackets wont work unless they fit the bracket. If you search ebay, they have even a bigger one.

yes Sir you are correct, it is the light bar i am interested in buying that does not show the bottom, i plan to buy both the bar and license plate bracket and if need be i will make an adapter. Just getting ready to start swapping the fascia piece and run wires for the brake controller. I have the wires and shrink tubing, i just ordered some of the butt connectors that combine the solder and shrink tubing

Hmmm...I'm confused...

https://www.taylorsvilletimes.com/2...l-prohibit-use-of-light-bar-devices-on-roads/

Quote...The bill language states that “no person shall drive a motor vehicle on the highways of this State while using a light bar lighting device. This subsection does not apply to or otherwise restrict use of a light bar lighting device with strobing lights. For purposes of this subsection, the term ‘light bar lighting device’ means a bar-shaped lighting device comprised of multiple lamps capable of projecting a beam of light at an intensity greater than [25 candlepower].”

Does "operating" just mean having the lights on or have them mounted? 25 candlepower?! A good lighter can do better than that lol...
Having them on.
