Just a question because I’m not completely clear on this. I am having a 2.5 rough country leveling kit installed next week. I ordered 17x8 wheels with a 0mm offset. I will be running 265/70r17 tires. Does anyone know if I am going to run the crash bars with this setup? Pic of truck now! Thanks!

I have the same exact setup but I'm at +25 offset and rub ever so slightly at full lock backing out of a driveway... I think some trimming might be in your future at almost an inch more of stance than I

You guys know if it takes 2” to level the front, or is it 2.5”? Seems odd for preload to have 2.5” kits and have to set them at the max.

My 2.5" still has the slightest bit of rake. 3" would be perfectly level with no load in the bed

Okay, interesting. I picked up a set Bilstein 6112s (2.5” level) and was hoping to be level.

I have a 2.5" level and to the eye it looks level but there's still a little rake. I wanted it that way as I work out of my truck and some days I have a good amount of weight in the bed. Just keep that in mind if you're going to go 3" because if you weight the bed down it'll be nose high now.

Okay, interesting. I picked up a set Bilstein 6112s (2.5” level) and was hoping to be level.

It is close enough and miles better than the stock rake, but its gonna be one of those things that no one will ever notice unless you point it out to them

IIRC it's about 3/8" off but I'd have to measure that again since it's been a while.

Yeah, the 6112s are. They have 7 settings I believe and 2.5” max.

That's good as you'll be able to dial them down if you don't like the top setting.

thanks for the reply! I kind of assumed there would be a little trimming! Shouldn’t be too bad though since there’s probably only about a 1/2 inch difference.
