Back in the day we spliced an inline toggle switch to prevent a vehicle from starting. Some tapped into the ignition, some into the fuel pump, etc. Then you just hid the switch somewhere and flipped it on when you wanted to drive. Park it, and flip the switch to off. Was wondering if anyone had done similar with their Rangers? With all the tech, I would hate to tap into something that would cause any issues to any control modules. Any thoughts, ideas, tips??
I know back in the day my insurance carrier gave me a decent discount if I added this to my vehicle and showed a receipt along with a couple photos to prove it was in fact installed. Thoughts??
