Just make sure to maintain it properly, wash n wax every month, change the fluid and filter every 3 months or 3000 miles, and if any problems hook it up to the proper diagnostic machine.
Make sure to check the up and down/ in and out fluid reservoir regularly.
Remember, a properly maintained damper is key to and directly related to your Rangers proper operation, and should, over time, increase horsepower.

Actually I put mine through the torture test. Never wax, wash or change any fluids and still going strong all these years. ?

Bet you don't change out the direction of your windshield wipers either.
Every 5000 miles or 6 rainstorms, whichever comes first, you need to switch them from back n forth back n forth, to forth n back forth n back !!!

Out here, the 5000 miles will always come first.
And windshield wipers are not required.
