you're probably better off not owning a firearmlivingin commiefornia. Maine, NH and VT are all Constitutional Carry states. No permit required and no registration, because frankly, its not any of the government's business. Co-oincdently, also all three are in the top 10 safest states to live in. Maine has a duty to retreat clause. You have to warn someone before you shoot them...except if they are committing arson, then its no issue at all. Oddly enough, Maine has less restrictive firearm laws than Texas.
