When I mow the grass I move my truck to the driveway to get the mower out of the garage. I did not bother to move it back to its normal parking spot when I finished mowing as it was late and supper was ready. This morning when the wife left for work, she backed smack into the back end of it. Uggggh!
I think I can nudge the bumper back into place, but the tail light is another issue. Has anyone found a good place to purchase the tail lights with the Bliss system?
Is it possible the Bliss module is still good and I can install it into a new light housing?

Make sure to seal up the taillight from getting water inside or it will destroy the BLISS module. You can most likely re-use the BLISS module on a replacement taillight.

Sounds like several of us can start a "did I F up" club.
This puts my truck in the same category as the YELLOW post at the gas station. She backed into it last week. And the garbage truck she totaled her car on last year. Somehow, I don't feel any better.

Hmm. Well, 1, I gave myself a door ding on one of those yellow things (PDR guy to the rescue), and 2, have you checked out Match.com?

Kidding.

#1 is not my latest, I backed up with a trailer on, and forgot I had a trailer on. It goes to the shop on Tuesday.

Shame on you for parking your truck somewhere ?, putting yellow posts at gas stations, or having waste management in your area…. What are you trying to do?? get rid of her???

350+25ish shipping on eBay for a used one… personally don’t like eBay.. but has its uses.

That definitely would be cheaper. A new one is just over $1,000 ?. You can give them your VIN to make sure you get the right one.

Don't believe it has the sensor. If you need a new sensor; it needs to be programmed to your truck.

@airline tech may be able to help you on how to do this. I think he explained the procedure in another thread (just can't remember which one ?)

Oh man, that SUCKS! Sounds like wife has a history. But it's not like she was playing a round of frisbee golf.

There are ones on Amazon for less than $300 if you can reuse your BLISS module.

All the lights still work in the tail light. So I am hopeful the Bliss module is still good too. How can I check the Bliss module?
