Not only did I receive our annual company bonus, which was quite substantial, I also received my title having recently paid off the Ranger. Kudos to the UVA Credit Union, you made the loan process, vehicle ownership effortless. Having paid off the house years ago, this guy is debt free!

Damn right! Seriously thinking tune.
It really does make a huge difference. I don't get on mine all the time but even driving normal you can tell the shifting is such smoother. Plus it's nice having the extra power there when you step on it.

Forget that, now you need to buy a weekend getaway somewhere. After I paid off my house I almost immediately bought a cabin in the mountains and we love it. And real estate is still as good of an investment as anything.

Often thought about it. But I have enough to keep me busy at my house. Plus I am far from retired, so not much extra time to maintain another property.
Also, having 360 mountain views, I consider this place my getaway.

Go 'Hoos (but watching Miami kicking our butts while I write this :frown:)....Class of '78 here.
Well crap. I am not much of a basketball fan, but I did watch the Houston humiliation Saturday. Thought maybe they could get their crap together for Miami. I didn't go to UVA but am a football season ticket holder.

We are too....incredibly sad situation this year. I see from your zip code that you do live in a beautiful area....we're in NOVA but always take the Orange/Gordonsville route when we come down.
