So I'm not sure if anyone else has seen this or not but apparently there is another tailgate we can run on the Ranger(and other vehicles too). I actually like it for some versatility. Of course I wont be doing this for some obvious reasons at this time but some of you might find this to be a great option for you.

Oh man i love it!!!! Especially the ladder. I need to look into this! If the tailgate can hold some weight on it that would be even better, and plug and play our locks and cameras

It does seem like it will hold some weight. Also the fact you have a "bed extenter" built in to this as well that folds back into the tailgate.

pretty slick setup. i like that its plug and play and dual cameras. it covers up the ranger letters on the tail gate which is fine by me.

Thanks for posting this. I am glad to see that they are putting out tailgate options for the Ranger, even though this particular one is not for me. I really like the idea of opening from the sides like a door (on the Ridgeline) or the sixty-forty split (on the Ram), and I am hoping that Ford (or some clever aftermarket vendor) will make these available at some point...

Hmmmm, it doesn’t seem to fit properly, colour doesn’t match, and what’s with those fasteners?

However, I really like that dual camera idea.

Do remember that it is aftermarket so it won't be 100%. As for color matching you need to understand that any part that gets painted will never be 100% correct either but it will be close.

Aftermarket? More like after-party.

100% fit? I’m fine within certain allowances but that’s a 100% fail. My topper fits, floor liners fit, flares fit. Heck, even my cheap POS console organizer tray fits.

I understand the challenges of colour matching so well that I have my own handheld Spectro colour sensing device.

100% on colour? Likely not possible, but the difference shouldn’t be so obvious that Stevie Wonder could tell that it doesn’t match.

At their pricing, I expect way better - $2,000 buys a lot of these.

What's simple if you don't like it don't buy it. All I simply did was mention this product because it was popping up on my Facebook news for some reason. I decided to get curious and look into it to see if it was available for the Ranger and there it is. You don't like it don't buy it your call

More interesting the Ranger is the only mid sized truck they make the tailgate for. No Taco's, colorado's or Caynon's.

The fit and colormatch finish (optional extra) looks better on the full size trucks too.

@Frenchy, if you would had that tailgate on your truck you could have stopped and loaded that damn cow into your bed instead of running it over, too soon? Sorry Frenchy, I’m just trying to cheer you up
