It wasn't supposed to snow today so after work yesterday I gave her a bath and shined her up. As is typical the weatherman was wrong! ?
Had to go pick up my daughter at the airport in Iron Mountain which is about a 60 mi drive so she got a bit snow covered and icy. Such as life in the U.P. of Michigan. ?

I remember those days when you "thought" winter was over and then more snow gets dumped on you. The heat is tough to deal with at times here but one nice thing is my vehicles stay nice and clean a lot longer here. You gotta move Scott! ?:sun::tumbleweed:

Over the last couple days, we've had severe thunderstorm warnings, extreme fire danger warnings, extreme wind advisories, and just to keep on our toes a frost warning yesterday morning. 34* last night with a projected high of 91* today.

One of the reasons I left NJ. Now 60 is chilly
you mean you dont like your winters 40 degrees and rainy for 5 months straight?

Edit: outside of the 6 weeks in Jan-Feb where it actually gets cold then doesn't snow it just stays miserable then it rains again?

Yeah It's not for everybody that's for sure. I laugh because people come here in March and April and fall in love with the weather. Then come June - August they're like "It never could off here". lol 106 at 10:00 pm is not fun! ?

I'll be heading up your way in June. We're getting out of here for the month so it'll be a nice break from the heat up there.

Shoot every time I go I notice that it just has to be over 70° and just stand in the sun and I will sweat. Here in Colorado that doesnt happen unless its over 80°

The sun is strong here and with the lack of humidity it feels even hotter. Right now we're at 10% humidity. I'm bringing some cold weather cloths with me on our trip. I'm not taking any chances when I go up there! lol
