They're both very pretty, but I like the old one a bit better actually.

I do too, actually. something about the chrome really made it pop on that truck! But the FX2 package had to go. the NEW truck rides so much better.

I don't hate chrome, but it rusted on my pre-taco toyota. I looked at a chrome package ranger, and on a white truck it was just in your face. Just my opinion

Congrats and enjoy the truck. I have the same color and I love it. I think the new carbonized grey looks great and works well on the ranger. I’m loving my FX4 and with just a few minor tweaks it will be the perfect truck.

Was that the rear bumper that rusted near the hitch on the Tacoma? That was the only issue we had with our '02.

Was that the rear bumper that rusted near the hitch on the Tacoma? That was the only issue we had with our '02.

Yeah, the rear bumper ate itself up and I replaced it with a black aftermarket. The front bumpers rusted on either side where water dripped off the hood, but wasn't bad enough to replace. I had a '93 which was before the taco, and just cryptically called Truck

I removed the trail gate dampener from my trade in and installed it on my new truck. I love that thing!

Just bought mine Friday and noticed the dealer had them pumped up to 45 and on board was saying recommended 30. Any reason why they do this? New to Ranger community!

I bought two rangers. The first had 50 psi when I got it home. The second had 45 psi... I wish the dealers would adjust this on arrival so during a test drive its an accurate reflection of the trucks suspension.

They seem to come from the factory like that and the dealer should let it out, but never do. There's been talk about it, but I think the answer was the factory uses high pressure to set the beads on the tires... or, something like that.

Mine came at 40 and about shook out a kidney. 30 is much better.
