I saw a 2021 Ranger Super Crew in Lowe's parking lot. ....looked like a dealer demo. No temp registration, just the dealer's badge on the rear plate.
The decal badging on the box wasn't FX4, but SX.... don't remember the number.
What is this? A new off road package?

Probably an STX?
By the way I liked my 2210, I kind of miss it now that I live where the HOA does the landscaping.

It's a pretty good value of you ask me. That 8" screen used to be a really expensive upgrade all on its own. And those base XL rims are hideous too ?

My '20 STX. Bought it through the Fleet Manager at my local dealer, and got a heck of a deal. I didn't want/need any of those fancy do-dads that come with the higher trims, plus I wanted the rear seat delete option that came with the XL package. The little truck makes me happy, happy, happy.

its trim package. I have an STX FX4. Even more "base" than the XL. Plastic floor liners, no carpet, black bumpers and trim, different wheels. Along with the FX4 package, it includes all the off-road bits with less creature comforts inside.

Yes. Basically you get the 101A package, 17" silver spoked wheels, fog lights, and the XLT seats. The STX Special Edition gets you that plus the black 18" wheels, dual climate control, and some other extras.

The other thing you get in the XL is the Sync 3 system and Cruise Control.
That was a funny video, but if you ever drive with a woman, you'll see the point of dual climate control. My girl is always complaining about it being too cold when I have the AC at 72F.

There was a time when the Ranger split the difference between a standard bed and a "splash" bed and mounted a Mazda bed on the Ranger. Gave it a nice look, but that was long ago.

Our 2019 Ranger... is a Magnetic XL. When you get the FX4, the STX was included.
