So I have to know, what is it with many different individuals lately coming on to this form and just go in absolute bad s*** crazy?!

To clarify I just happen to miss the recent bump stop conversation that I found to be quite hilarious actually. Not long before that we had the lovely engine oil cooler discussion that I'm pretty sure got deleted. I know it was a part of the oil cooler discussion and I don't see it anymore.

Don't get me wrong I do love it when we're able to share information and not go off the wall too much when possible. Obviously we are going to throw jokes and some birdies at each other just because we can. But all in all we do pretty good at keeping things pretty well. Out of all the forms I have been on, this is definitely been the best one.

Due to my recent purchase a couple months ago and now on the frontier forms with @RedDakooter05 and I have to say many of their members are also special to say the least. Also unfortunately they're ignored button doesn't work the same way as ours does. It's a sad time.

So again I have to ask. What's with all the crazies coming over all of a sudden?

*their

Ha Ha, Grammar Nazi strikes again!

Anyway, it seems the whole world is going crazy, not just these forums. Must be something in the water or in the air.

I don't think it's the water or air.
I think it's too many participation trophies and a reluctance of parents to expect more of their children and/or hold them to a higher standard that causes many of the malfunctions we are experiencing in "society" nowadays.

Now get off my lawn!!!

Agreed. This headline proves it:

26 percent of Gen Z applicants bringing parent to job interview: Survey

  • ResumeTemplates surveyed 1,428 U.S. based Gen Zers
  • Majority of on-camera parents spoke directly to hiring manager
  • 'It does not signal confidence to a hiring company': Resume writer

I read that article this morning and thought "how sad".

Back when I was allowed to do pre-hire interviews, if someone had brought a parent with them I'd have thanked them for their time and sent them home.

I don't know but it doesn't stop me from throwing a quip or two out there. Unfortunately you likely have blocked me and can't read my response. Hmmm... If someone posts something that is blocked by a user...does the person think subsequent posts are throwing shade on them?

Why would I have you blocked?
I don't think I have anybody blocked, actually. I'm not sure I even know how, or care to learn, as I'm not afraid of having civil conversation about things that I don't agree with.

I have no words...... I can't even begin to think when coming to an interview with your child would be considered appropriate - driving them to the interview? Maybe. But sitting in the room DURING the interview? Wow.

When I see stuff like this I always think - "what is the kid going to do when mommy or daddy isn't around to save them" Because some day, mommy and daddy WON'T be around to save them - that isn't an if, it is a WHEN.

I will agree on this with you. Don't get me wrong there was one time many years ago that I did have my dad join me when I was going to an interview. He did not sit in the same room as me, but instead he was walking around the dealer a lot kicking tires and asking other questions. For some reason that one time I just wanted him around for a little bit extra confidence. After that I never really had to worry about it

I only noticed the real crazies started to appear here mid March 2020 . . .
