Holy. Crap.

This is QUITE the difference in timing compared to my long wait on the Bronco reservation.

Hopefully it doesn’t get bumped back a bunch like some of the other members here have been throughout 2021.

Super Excited!

Figured I'd post an update. Just got my 'BUILT' email this morning. Delivery estimate is by 2/24/22.

Probably a combination of my dealer allocation, and picking the right config options to avoid any constraints. But as long as that felt, it was also pretty fast. I know that I'm very lucky compared to others on the forum.

.... Am I the only one that feels/felt this way? (and please don't take this as a complaint in any way shape or form...)

From order placement, to scheduling, to in progress, to built, to shipped. Everything went surprisingly fast. (way faster than many others have had to endure)

ETA for delivery is 2/24/22.... Is the last week before estimated delivery always this emotionally painful? LOLOL

I thought I would be so cool about it, and laid back, and 'heyyy it gets here when it gets here.'

And yet, here I am, constantly checking email, checking the tracking site... it's an obsession. ?

So, is the final week before estimated delivery always this bad??

I've ordered many trucks over the years and never really cared how long they took. Now it seems like I have way less patience and I want it asap.

When I ordered my Jeep back on 10/23/21 they said expect it sometime mid March which I was fine with. Then I got an email saying it was being built on 12/21/22. From that day on I was checking my email and Jeep Chat several times a day and the wait was killing me.:explode: Once you get it it'll all be worth the wait!?

I can relate. There’s a good chance my Tremor will be built and delivered to my dealer a month before we get back from Florida ( we’re from Michigan). So the recent delays aren’t as stinging. Will have family members do daily drive bys to check on it. Hoping I can figure a way to hack into dealers lot security cams so I can watch it all day ?

I've "built" the last 3 vehicles via fords website and each time when I've taken it to my dealer to order them, they looked on Vincent (their private web) and found what I wanted already sitting on a lot either in or just out of state and made a dealer trade so I didn't have to test my patience ? however now with inventory low, dealers aren't willing to trade.

Yeah, and even if you can locate one, most dealers are charging higher price on inventory units compared to retail orders.

For the price we discussed, as long as it all comes through without surprises, this wait will have been well worth it. It just suuuuuucks. LOL

I just checked the dealer's website where I got mine, they have what appears to be my same truck in-stock, but it's a 2022 and it's $40,445... my 2021 was $38,945 and I have more options.

I'm hoping the spread on what is lost on the 2022 model from the 2021 model isn't too huge... Haven't taken the time to identify every difference on the Lariat trim level.

Time seems to stand still on the day it is to arrive.
"...Hello, Mr Elmosaurus? Great news! the train just left the factory with your new Ranger and should be here any- Hold on I have another call coming in..."

I'd laugh entirely without a care, except as a member of the Bronco6g forum... I've seen posts like these:

https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/threads/bad-news-today…-got-a-call-damaged-in-transport.21159/

https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/thre...out-of-the-train-transport-last-week-😖.24566/

Feels like the delivery team has not been taking the care they should to secure the vehicles prior to movement....

I guess that is what the $1,195 destination and delivery fee is for.
