Pretty good comparison between the two. The Bronco Raptor has more ground clearance but that's because it comes with 37's and the 392 with 33's unless you get the Xtreme Recon Package with 35's. Still a whole lotta money for a vehicle that's impractical.

Under the hood of the Wrangler 392 sits the familiar 6.4-liter Apache V-8 engine. In Wrangler spec the engine is good for 470 horsepower and 470 lb-ft, which allows the SUV to rip off a 0-60 mph run in just 4.5 seconds. While that’s not Urus-rivaling speed, the figure is mighty impressive next to other dedicated off-roaders. It also doesn’t hurt that the naturally aspirated engine is working with more than double the displacement as the Bronco Raptor’s EcoBoost powertrain. In place of the 2.7-liter EcoBoost now sits a larger 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V-6, which was long rumored. While Ford isn’t quite ready to share output figures, the automaker does confirm they’re targeting more than 400 horsepower. Both SUVs are solely available with their respective automatic gearboxes, though both do offer paddle shifters.

A lot more articles coming out about the Bronco Raptor now.

Ford explains why the 2022 Ford Bronco Raptor doesn't have a V8

https://autos.yahoo.com/ford-explains-why-2022-ford-150000074.html

"The truck has to go through the same assembly line as [the Ranger and the standard Bronco] and we want to follow the same processes. The 2.7-liter V6 is part of the Nanofamily and the 3.0-liter is the upgrade to it," explained Ford Performance vehicle engineering manager Derek Bier in an interview with Muscle Car & Trucks. Releasing the Raptor with an eight-cylinder engine would have required making changes in the factory that builds it or choosing another plant, and neither option was on the table during the development process.

"The 3.0-liter EcoBoost was always part of the [Bronco Raptor] program. There was never another powertrain considered for it," Bier added.

That's for the base model. lol Wait until they show the price of a fully decked out one, I'm guessing $95K? Then they'll add at least another $20K-$30K dealer "premium" markup on top of that. o_O
Pass. I'm sure it's awesome, but holy cow what you're going to pay. I could have a brand new Ranger Raptor and still have SEVENTY FIVE GRAND left over.

I thinks it's kind of cute that Ford is calling it a '22 when my one time '22 is now possibly a '24. But, who am I to question Mother Ford? :)
