My Bak Revolver X4s leaks towards the rear. My driveway angles down toward the street so the bed ends up fairly level.

I have a SwingCase on each side and the indented top tray thing always gets a little water. Maybe a quarter cup (regardless of how much rain) and the BedRug flap between the tailgate and bed gets wet enough that it'll freeze in winter and make it hard to open the tailgate.

The linex one I have is a rebranded/sprayed backflip mx4. It barely leaks on the corners of tailgate. Seems to never collect though

Con Agra Tri Fold. It leaks 0. Also it is nearly perfectly flush with bed.

Almost 5 years and never drop of water which I find amazing because the three previous tonneau covers I had previously leaked some. Of course none were $1500 so that has something to do with it.

Mine leaks at the back both sides, and toward the front below the window a little. I'm assuming they all leak.
And my tires get wet, I'm okay with a pickup truck bed getting wet ...

Seriously though, if it's important to you, then it's possible. I think our old mod, AzBugGuy talked about making his dust proof since that can be a big issue in the desert.

RealTruck has some tailgate seal kits:

And I think there are kits that the Aussies use but not sure they fit ours:

Here's a generic tailgate kit:
