My 22 will have hood struts soon. I ordered them, $57. Used my Ford Pass points. My truck has the ball studs, it's plug and play.

That's great that you have the stock mounting points! My 22 will have hood struts soon. I ordered them, $57. Used my Ford Pass points. My truck has the ball studs, it's plug and play.
They might not be plug n play, but generally speaking a little know how and some modifications you can make it work no problem.TuffSupport hood struts at RockAuto for about $12 each. $36 with tax and shipping for two of them. Hope I didn't make a mistake.
I'm not familiar with these. Please post pics and good luck! =)TuffSupport hood struts at RockAuto for about $12 each. $36 with tax and shipping for two of them. Hope I didn't make a mistake.
Same here and I'm happy with the Redline - easy install and work very well.My 2022 SCAB, March build, did not have the mounting points. Not too much of an issue, just added the ones from Redline Tuning.
That together with an engine cover and a tailgate damper make for a blissful ownership experience.Same here and I'm happy with the Redline - easy install and work very well.
They look fantastic! Congrats! So, my 22 Ranger was an early build (01/22) that had the strut mount points. Found these on rockauto for $36 including delivery and tax for the pair. Honestly, just one of them is strong enough for the aluminum hood but in a high wind area, both are the safe bet.

Queue up the 90's(?) GM's! Ton of hoods had to be replaced. But you don't want them to be too stiff, lest you bend your aluminum hood when shutting it.
