I have the Corse Motorsports one and love it. Easy install and no problems in almost 3 years. It would be nice though to have an enclosed cover for the dash board hole.

I normally don't pay much attention to the little cubby on op of the dash in my Ranger. But after reading this thread, I put my iPhone 14 Plus in there and it took up the entire cubby.

That is what I have... and the original plan was to have 2 parked like a garage, or more like a 3 sided carport to keep the sun off the phone. But now I am thinking just a phone slot on one side and a 52mm gauge hole would be more useful. Yes the phone will stick out of the tray, but at a slope so they won't slide out but is grab ready.

I don't need to see the phone or the display as a holder would provide as I have NAV and the bluetooth provides all of that. I just want a quick cubby like the lower one, but as I mentioned too many "can you hear me now" conversations while driving usually result in me putting my phone on the dash to improve it's connection.

Any chance any of you know the ball size, or could measure it for me on that mount? I love the compact set-up but don't like their cradle mount (and magnetic mounts don't work well with my phone case). I'd like to buy their mount and attach my current cradled to it, if the ball fits properly.

I know its a spendier option for a phone holder, but I quite like my proclip mount. I have a huge issue with sticking extra stuff onto the back of my phone/case. I ended up getting one as I too was having reception issues with it in the cubby below, and this alleviated it. Also the onX app seems to work better on my phone screen than it does via android auto so another perk.

According to their website, the ball is 17mm with a 10-32 machine thread. I bought a magsafe case off Amazon that was around $25 and the magnet works great.

First version is done... Thinking of adding a 52mm cup for a boost gauge.

Just sits in your dash tray. 2 phones will fit side by side.
