Weathertech Cup Phone Holder Advice

Looking to purchase one of the weathertech cup phone holders. I have the iPhone 12 Pro Max. I would prefer the two view holder but I’m not sure it will be big enough to fit my phone. They have an XL but I don’t see two view as an option for that one.

Has anyone used the two view option for a larger phone like the 12 pro Max?

A friend has one and uses it with her iPhone 12 max. I do not know which one she has though. I tried it my Ranger and did not like where it sat because our cup holders are so far back on the center console. Just my opinion though. I have this one Here.

Sitting too far back is a concern that I have. It looks like it would sit pretty far back and you just validated that concern.

My DW has this in her Explorer and it works very well. However, as others have said, it's all about the placement of the cupholders. The Ranger's cupholders are quite far back, so unless you get one of the holders with an articulating arm, I think the placement is problematic no matter the brand. My $.02.
