I'm sure you already thought of this, I had the same problem till I shut off the "Start/Stop feature that leaves it running at a stop.
Hi Fred,

Thanks for the info...never in a million years would I have linked Stop/start to this shudder... Start up shudder is the bane of two piece drivelines and never gave this a thought. Since I have an auto start/stop eliminator, I have never experienced start up shudder and maybe this is the reason as the Ranger only had about 30 miles on it before I put in the eliminator module.

Best,

Just curious about the early Ranger buyers and the amount of miles put on them. I know there has to be some serious road rangers among us.

Mine has a build date of April, bought it the end of July, but have not put on many miles.

Who has the most miles on the odometer, and what are your experiences after the break-in period has long since passed?
Purchased in January of 2021 with 7 miles on it. Getting ready to break 148,000. Not the first issue at all but it goes in every 5000 miles for whatever it needs.

Even with the 100 mile round trip to and from work, my 22 OTR Ranger still has a long way to go to catch up with Sid @Msfitoy and @woodworker. After having the truck for 3 years it's pushing toward the 107,000 mile mark. Serviced at Quick Lane in Sherman, TX every 5,000 ish miles lol.

I took delivery 2/2019 and just crossed 100k with no real issues. Originally did 10k oil change with mobil1 but after a couple switched to 5k. When kid starts driving i'll probably buy a second 19-23. I'm done with new cars.

I'm at 15k. Truck was built in January, got it in February. Done a few only changes, got it down pretty easy now. No issues.
About 6 years later, I'm at 103k. Only issue was the trans that died at 90k

4th set of tires (went to 33's almost immediately)
5th set of shocks ( used for testing)
2nd trans
2nd battery.

114k bought off the lot with 7 miles 10/21.

2nd trans
3rd set of tires
2nd set of shocks
Front brakes still factory, rears recently done
Battery went a few weeks ago
DPFE at 85k

not too bad to be honest. I use it as a truck 25% of the time too. Towing or hauling something. Otherwise its a DD averaging 23mpg combined.

140,000 KM ~ 87,000 miles on my 2015, 3.2 diesel 6 speed 6R80 auto, Aus spec 5G global. Basically still runs and drives like new.

Tyres x3
Battery x3
Rear shocks - replaced with better HD off road ones for towing our caravan.
Halogen globes x2 - replaced with better ones so I can actually see the kangaroos at night!
Window rubbers - really need replacing, they're crap.
Sunglasses holder on the roof ditto - will no longer stay up

My truck will hit 50,000 miles tomorrow I've replaced my tires once, battery twice I think. Drives great since I bought with 20,409 on the odometer.
