No advice but I want to share a squirrel story. My pops and I fixed this siding on a house that was having a squirrel / wood pecker problem. They were working as a team, woodpecker would put a hole, squirrel would fill it up. When we tore off a panel, there was like 200 ponds of egg corns in there. I have never seen so many.

I've always wanted to try this but nothing is trying to nest under my hood...rim the spikes to length that fits on top of the engine...I guarantee no squirrels has steel shank boots...
