Heavy Duty's Front Hitch Build

Would you consider purchasing a hitch if I were to start making them?

I have considered that... just have not had a chance to remove it and see what happens... hopefully today...
Well I finally removed the front hitch cover (see photo above) hoping it would be the "problem"... nope still an issue. So definitely go 5 to 5.5 inches to the right of center instead of the 4.5 recommended. It's either that, OR the install moved the sensor around and needs to be recalibrated. Will have that checked next.

Here’s mine that came welded up. Maybe you can note any differences

Yours is decidedly more to the "left" than mine... My guess: the "move it 4.5" to the left" was interpreted as take the center of the tongue and move it that distance from the center of the bar. Seems reasonable from a engineering/CAD thought process. But it could have meant, move it such that the right edge of the tongue is 4.5" to the left of the center of the bar... which would have moved the center of the tongue and extra 1" to the left. I'm sure I'm over thinking this but the 4.5" just seem to little.

After I figure out if the sensor is out of alignment or if adjusting it fixes it, I'll let yu'll know.

I would love to purchase one of these! Anyone know how to get in touch with the seller?

The one I built fills the whole gap and I don’t have any issue?
