 Heated Damper!?
I heard it needs it because it squeals in the cold weather.

From my scientific studies though, Damper owners suffer the most muscle atrophy in the summer when the damper glides effortlessly down in the warm climate.
But in the winter, you work 5X as hard lowereing and lifting your gate because the oil is frozen and you cant bear to stand there in the cold holding grocery bags for 30 minutes. So you drop the bags and manually force the gate up and down to just get it over with.

I have had and currently have multiple vehicles with heated seats.

None come close to the Ranger seats set on high.

The Ranger seats on the high setting fall somewhere between flame thrower and Nuclear meltdown.

They feel so very nice on a cool morning...
That is so true!

Heated seats !!!! Heated steering wheel !!!!
What next ??? You all are gonna want windows that go up n down with a switch and locks that operate with a switch ???
Then what...a radio that you don't have to turn the knob to tune and more than one speaker, some type of system that blows cold air !!!!
Yea, how about making it easier to steer and brake with some type of power stuff !!!
If you all want to dream, than dream good stuff that is useful , not wussie stuff to keep your tush and pinkies warm !!!
Usually when somebody lectures me about the stuff I don’t need, I look around and ask them where they hitched their horse.

Here's mine, "parked" outside my garage.
Notice, non heated seat, no heated reins, no radio, open top so no window's or locks.
Manual steering and brakes. Low HP but lots of torque, and runs on all natural fuel's.

Well, ummm

I guess if I looked and saw a horse, I would just shut up and nod.

Trust me...it's not too far removed from what I learned to drive in....drum brakes (no power), no power steering, a "three on the tree", and no heater....that was an option back in them ole days.
Did have an am radio though so I could listen to the Wolfman.

I love my heated seats! When I first bought my Ranger I was like "what am I going to do with heated seats in AZ" but I use them all the time. I rarely use the heater because the heated seats are plenty and they're great for when your back is sore. It's like having a built in heating pad. ?
Me too!

Finally had a chance to test my heated seats in my Ranger for the first time on this chili November morning in San Diego California. They work nice.
My Altima also had heated steering wheel. Anybody have any ideas why Ford cheap out on the lariat?
I had the heated seats and steering wheel on my previous ride, the 2014 Explorer Limited. I used the heated seats more often, but the heated steering wheel was very welcoming on cold mornings! I do not know why Ford does not offer heated steering on Rangers as an option. I would definitely pay more for it, but in the meantime, I just wear gloves to drive when it gets really cold.
