I had those on my 2019 Ranger XLT that I bought in June 2020 with 12K miles. I found them to be noisy, but really didn't have any serious issues with them. At 39K I was seeing more wear than I thought should be showing and swapped the for Bridgestone Duellers, with which I have been very happy. Much quieter running. I don't off-road, so I have no idea how they would do. I had Hankooks on an 87 Ford Aerostar back in the 80s and they were so terrible, I returned them.

Are you sure it was the tires or the 87 AeroStar that was having problems?

All rangers are 30 PSI….

He said he’s running 33…

those Dynapro’s are not as deep on the outside as they are in the middle.. so when the tires wear down a bit they appear to have less tread than the middle which they actually do…

They do this for stabilization of the outer tread blocks to prevent abnormal wear because of cornering. This is why almost every factory truck tires has a solid outer tread rib. Like the Bridgstone Dueler that comes on other Rangers.
LT version of the tires are 35 or 38 cold irc

I switched out my OEM tires at 31k miles With Cooper Discoverer AT3 4S’s and couldn’t be happier.

I bought a '22 Ranger Lariat FX4 about a month ago with the original Hankook tires. The tires have 42K km (26K mi) They don't "feel" like great tires, especially off road and in snow (I'll get proper winter tires next year). Do they appear to be wearing a normal rate? It seems like they're OK in the middle but around the sides they look to me like they're wearing quickly.

If I decide to replace them, any suggestions for a capable off road tire? I want to be able to pull my trailer down logging roads that can be a bit sketchy.

I replaced mine at 20k because they were not the best in the snow or even rain. I went with Falken Wildpeaks AT3 and huge difference in the snow.

I've read good things about those tires. I'll probably get a set before winter.

33 according to the sensor.
They like to be more at 35/36 psi. The truck will ride a little stiffer but the tires will wear evenly across.

RETIRED!!!!
I changed mine at 44k. Still had some decent tread left, but they were getting really slick on wet roads. Put on new Wildpeak AT4W and really like them so far.

When I bought mine a few months ago it had the Hancooks on the front (pretty worn) and new firestone's on the rear. They are a decent looking tire but when I replace mine, which will probably be in the next 6 months or so I definitely plan on going with something a little bit meaner looking. I would say if you don't do much off roading they are a very good tire but look kinda plain.

What package or option gets a Ranger LT tires from the factory
It was an add-on. Tremor equipped models got the General Grabbers in the same size or slightly larger then the LT Hancooks. My FX2 says 38 on the door as I have the LT version of the tire. Slightly better load rating and heavier. They were 200-250$ extra and as a bonus You could get OWL as well(White outline Letters)

I had Cooper Rugged Treks for a summer. They were a great off road tire. Better than t co he average AT in mud… but they didn’t wear very well and ended up pretty choppy.

These trucks wear tires out on the inside on the front tires even with a perfect alignment.

They checked my alignment at the shop I bought the coopers at and I got a new set of Cooper AT3 LT’s.

my dad has a Ranger and he just went through the same thing with an in spec alignment.
I have 30k still 65% tread on my Rugged Treks. Regularly rotated and run 38psi. They are wearing evenly and still pretty quite for a semi aggressice AT tire. 300% happier with the than the OEM Hankooks that were decent in snow and mostly good for milage. Sucked offroad.
