Dont know much bout the Hellcats. Im a Glock-man!
I realize this is close to blasphemy for some folks ? but I didn't like my Glock 19 so I gave it away to my son last year. I want something just a twitch smaller in size and more comfortable in my hand. Also looking at the new Walther PDP F maybe.

I have a couple of random noob questions for you, my expert friends...

When cleaning my 5.56, I have found that I can't get any patches down the bore but .22 cal. I have purchased patches that SAY they're for 5.56, but they won't go. I have also purchased a "supposed" 5.56 cleaning kit (not very expensive), and have found that little that is in the kit is useful to me . Brushes won't fit, patches won't fit, and the rod/extensions aren't long enough to go down the barrel so I end up using my .22 cleaning tools to do the job. What the heck am I doing wrong???

Just in case you're of a mind to consider, there's also this...

Hellcat Pro or P365 XL (I'm considering a new weapon)
Do any of you have experiences good or bad with either one?

Thanks, and have a great weekend!
Chris
I have the Sig P365 XL and love it. I rotate this with my M&P Shield as my carry gun but lean more towards the Sig as it holds more rounds. I don't have any experience with the Hellcat but haven't heard anything negative about them. Sometimes it all comes down to what feels the best in your hand.

Not at all blasphemy. I've never had a Glock that I could get to feel comfortable with. I have smaller hands and even the newer one (can't remember which number) that is similar to the M&P Shield just didn't feel right. Both my M&P Shield and the Sig P365XL fit me like a glove. Of course so do the 1911's which I have a few of but now we're talking some $$$.

I daily carry a G42 in .380,but will soon swap it out with the Walther PDP Compact 4" I picked up about 6 months ago. The compact grip fits my hand much better and I have big hands--I wear XXL gloves and just for Doc, (and other medical folks) I wear a size 8 surgical glove. Once you get to handle a PDP, make sure to check out both the full size and compact-- both have different sized back straps to swap between. The trigger is also very nice compared to my G22C, not even a fair fight. I like Glocks, but once I handled the PDP, I was sold.

The Glock grip angle isn't for everyone! Have a Gen5 19 and Gen3 26 and love 'em both. Had a 43 and 43X but my son talked me out of those. The 43X is really comfortable to shoot and carry. Shield Arms up in Montana makes a flush fit 15rd mag for it. A great set up! Friend of mine swears by the Sig P365. Says he won't carry anything else!

On all y Glocks I install a Ghost 3.5lb connector......factory Glocks go anywhere from 5.5-6lb triggers. These connectors lighten up the trigger to about 4-4.5lbs and take alot of the 'slop' out of the trigger. A definite upgrade in any Glock IMHO.

But what caliber was that? Didn't see it in the article.
