I went with the Black Horse OffRoad bumper

I have since added the backup lights in it.

When I was looking at trucks I really liked the bumper steps on the Canyorado twins, but nobody else did that. The steps are what really drew me to this one.

The steps make getting in/out of the bed a breeze.

I'm hoping it will be a good match with the ARB front that I'm planning on.
which backup lights did you go with?

I bought a couple of LED cubes off Amazon that fit into the openings.

They make terrific backup lights.

I'll see if I can find where I ordered them and get you the exact ones I ordered.

Ok so you didn't need the black horse ones specifically. Awesome! I would definitely be interested in the light info, I appreciate you looking.

I used THESE

They won't bolt in facing straight out, but I have them fit so that they are angled very slightly outward which actually works better since it gives a wider pattern of light.

I'll grab a pic of them in the morning.

DO you have them wired separately or wired to your reverse lights. Also could you take a profile side pic of the bumper with the side of your truck. just wanting to see how the the sides blend with the body lines.

I wired them directly into the reverse lights. The current draw is very low so I thought I'd risk it. No problems so far and it's been a while.

Here is a side pic so you can see the bumper lines.

It follows the body nicely.

I'll get a better pic today if I can.

Thank you for the info. Looks really good. I can't wait for mine to get here. Lol I'm not opposed to more pics.

Set aside time to install it :)

I thought it would be a simple unbolt the old and bolt in the new, but you have to disassemble the factory bumper and use its skeleton to mount the new one.

The new one is MUCH sturdier than the factory unit.

And the first time you effortlessly get into the bed with the tailgate down, due to those handy steps, ahhhh... ?

Yeah, I can't get in the bed, at least not easily. I put on a bestop step. Don't know why ford didn't include steps in the bumper.

I wish my ranger had the corner step built into it. I'm getting too old to crawl up on the tail gate.
Use the rear tires. Grab the bed rail, step up on the tire and then up into the bed. I bet I've done that on our Ranger 50 times since we bought the truck in Sept 2019.

I have a soft cover on the be so that makes grabbing the bedrail kinda hard unless it's off. Granted I don't get in the bed often with the cover on it but if I do it's to retrieve something.
