Good to hear about the spare tire.

We’re there any alignment or other suspension adjustments done after the install? Any comments from the technician that did the install?
Yes, he said the camber was affected a good bit, and he maxed out the adjustment to get it perfect.

There is what seems to be a little more than an inch there with the wheel turned all the way to the right. I could have gone bigger!

The specs say that tire is 32.1" So if there is still an inch with what looks like the stock aero and crash bar in place? If that is the case it would be easy to fit a 285/70R17 which is 32.7" for my truck? Hummm

He mentioned in post 1, that it's 275/65 18
I remember another member saying even with the RC Level that a 65 will rub.

“SchoolZoneSpeeder” started this thread saying that he had installed the lift and 275/65R18’s. (275/65R18 = 32.09” diameter.)

In post #20 he goes on to say that he “could have gone bigger!”

Perhaps, 265/70R18 (32.56” diameter)?

Don't forget the width calculation. Too many people focus on diameter and forget that is only one part of the equation. For example, you may be able to fit a 32" 265mm tire, but not be able to fit a 32" 305mm tire or even a 275mm tire.

As you go wider, at full turn the outer edge will be closer to contacting the front fender, which appears to be a limiting factor on this truck.

As per the Google ( https://tiresize.com/tiresizes/265-70R18.htm )

265/60R18 = 10.4” section width x 30.5” diameter (stock on my Lariat)

265/65R18 = 10.4” section width x 31.6” diameter

265/70R18 = 10.4” section width x 32.6” diameter

275/65R18 = 10.86” section width x 32.07” diameter

For example, 285mm is 11.22 inches wide. I was simply stating that you can't just look at diameter as a 265/70/R18 (32.6" x 10.4") might fit when a 285/70/R17 (32.7" x 11.22") might not... even though it is only 1/10 of an inch larger in diameter.

You are absolutely correct. My point is that a taller tire need not be wider.

I think your truck looks great....no concerns about turning offroad or while hitting a bump while suspension is flexed? Looks like it has the potential to rub pretty bad.

There doesn't seem to be any issues. I dont think I've bottomed out at full lock, but I've definitely compressed the suspension a lot at full lock hitting a steep driveway near my house pretty hard.
