I'm not sure if this is not allowed on this forum or not, and if it is not.....please delete the link or the thread. I realize the company isn't a site sponsor, but the price was impossible to pass up.

I've been looking at various tire options, sizes, brands, tire weights, dimensions.......you name it.

I had good luck with Toyo AT2's on my F250, so I looked at those when I discovered they now have an AT3. The AT3 also has a 265/70R18 that should fit my factory 18" wheels without rubbing after the Eibach Pro Truck kit was added.

I searched prices and found $210-225 per tire seemed pretty normal. My Hankook's, other than being smaller, have performed fine for 11,000 miles so far, so I was in no hurry to spend $1000 to change them. I found the AT3's in the size I wanted for $172 per tire, and today they dropped to $159.91 per tire. Screw it, I bought a set and they should be here next week. I couldn't help it.

Now to get them in, get them mounted and balanced. If I can pull it off before going out of town Thursday next week, they're first time on the road will be 11 hours each way to a ranch where I'll be driving over natural terrain to try them out.

Mine arrive Tuesday and I’ll hopefully get them installed Wednesday and snap a pic.

from what I found, they were normally $209-219/tire and I got them for $159. Hard to argue the price.

Before, after, and measurements. Truck is within 1/8 front to back, so only uploaded the front pics.
Need better lighting for the after pic, but the sun won’t move to where I ask.

I've only driven it on the way back from the shop to my office......stupid work is in the way again!

There's a tiny bit of a squeal/squeak from the new rubber at low speed that will scrub off fast. I didn't notice it being much different on the short highway trip that turned my drive from a 1 mile drive back to a 4-5 mile drive back to the office. haha

I will get a trip Thursday of 11 hours one direction to see how it sounds.

Drive a little on the way home.

Ride seems “smoother”, I’m guessing due to taller sidewalls. A little hum at 75-80mph, but not enough to be that noticeable.

Got my tires and installed the eibach pro truck lift on its highest setting

parked next to my buddies FX4 with same lift and similar tire height.

I will be adding 1.5” wheels spacers.

I dont know if it's the angle or what, but the blue one looks like it's got a bigger/boxier front end. I know the only difference is the headlights and grill, but still...

I think the side profile with the airdam adds some height in appearance compared to the FX4 skid plate, but I agree that the grill style difference does change the appearance a good amount.
