I'm not sure if this is not allowed on this forum or not, and if it is not.....please delete the link or the thread. I realize the company isn't a site sponsor, but the price was impossible to pass up.
I've been looking at various tire options, sizes, brands, tire weights, dimensions.......you name it.
I had good luck with Toyo AT2's on my F250, so I looked at those when I discovered they now have an AT3. The AT3 also has a 265/70R18 that should fit my factory 18" wheels without rubbing after the Eibach Pro Truck kit was added.
I searched prices and found $210-225 per tire seemed pretty normal. My Hankook's, other than being smaller, have performed fine for 11,000 miles so far, so I was in no hurry to spend $1000 to change them. I found the AT3's in the size I wanted for $172 per tire, and today they dropped to $159.91 per tire. Screw it, I bought a set and they should be here next week. I couldn't help it.
Now to get them in, get them mounted and balanced. If I can pull it off before going out of town Thursday next week, they're first time on the road will be 11 hours each way to a ranch where I'll be driving over natural terrain to try them out.
